Izmir Kofte – Baked Meatballs with Potatoes; Izmir’s best known local dish. Finely minced meat is knee aded with onions, salt, black pepper and breadcrumbs. Potatoes shaped into pear slices and baked on a tomato sauce with green peppers, sliced tomatoes.

Karniyarik – Eggplant Split Belly; whole eggplant stuffed with sautéed onions and fine ground beef and special herbs then baked in fresh tomato sauce and pepper on top. (can be made vegan)

Spinach with feta cheese roll; this is a yummy and delicious traditional side dish. Sautéed onions , organic spinach and Turkish feta cheese filled buttery phyllo dough.

Sigara Borek (phyllo cigars); very popular and crispy roll. Phyllo scrolls stuffed with feta cheese, pan-fried till golden brown.

Egg Mimosa; blend the yolks with wasabi mayo, dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Pipe the filling into the egg white. Serve garnish with caviar or salmon egg on top.

Grape Leaves (Yaprak Sarma); grape leaves stuffed with rice, pine nuts, raisins and sautéed onions, flavored with herbs and olive oil.

Red Cabbage Salad; it is basic but taste is delicious. Shredded red cabbage salad in delicious lemony and balsamic dressing.
